The new Grandview Community Center has been designed to provide much needed amenities for the citizens of Grandview. The Center will provide a new Dining Hall for group dinners, dances, community parties and other events. The large Multi-Purpose/Gym space will accommodate exercise/recreation classes, local sports leagues and other functions too large for the Dining Hall. The Center will be supported by a host of other spaces including a Reception Area, Parks and Recreation Staff offices, a Game Room, American Legion Room, and Billiards Room. An existing building located on the project site is being included in the project and has been renovated to house a Commercial Kitchen, Conference Room, Health Room, and an Office. The layout of the new building allows for multiple groups to use the facility simultaneously without disturbing each other. The new Community Center will provide a location for community programs as well as a gathering facility for residents of all ages.
